This virtual event convenes a panel of experts to discuss the upcoming October 2022 federal elections in Brazil.
The Latin American, Latino, & Caribbean Studies department at Dartmouth is excited to invite you to join us (virtually) on Wednesday, September 21st at 3 pm for our virtual panel entitled “Precarious Democracy: A Discussion on the Stakes of the 2022 Brazilian Elections.” Please register here .
Our panelists include Sean T. Mitchell, Associate Professor of Anthropology at Rutgers University; Vânia Penha-Lopes, Professor of Sociology at Bloomfield College; Ben Cowan, Professor of History at the University of California San Diego; and Sam Cowie, a journalist based in Brazil.
