Come join us for a presentation by Ersula Ore, Author of “Lynching: Violence, Rhethoric, and American Identity.” For some, the danger is more personal than for others. Ersula Ore had been studying how the language used by media and institutional authorities perpetuates racial violence against African Americans when she was attacked by a campus policeman for “walking while Black.” She will be joining us on Monday October 11th from 12:15-1:30 in Haldeman Center Room 41.
