Almita Miranda is the 2015-2016 César Chávez Fellow. Miranda is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University. Her research interests are in cultural and political/legal anthropology, race/ethnicity, gender, (im)migration, citizenship, transnationalism, Latino families and grassroots organizing in the U.S. and Mexico/Latin America.

Charlene Cruz-Cerdas is a Ph.D. candidate from the department of sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and is the current 2014-2015 César Chávez Fellow.
