Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón delivers a vivid, emotional portrait of a domestic worker's journey set against domestic and political turmoil in 1970s Mexico. This Netflix original won Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Foreign Language Film and Best Cinematography, and was nominated for Best Picture. Commentator Middents has written extensively on Cuarón. **The prescreening panel will be held in Loew Auditorium in the Black Family Visual Arts Center.
